Computers for Villa Maria

Technology is becoming an increasingly important subject to master early on in school as well as a method of teaching.  We are inspired by the way the staff of the Villa Maria primary school, which serves a poor community outside Lima, strive to give the children the best education possible and make the best of what they have. This spring, the school would like to add ten more PCs to their technology classroom. That would double the number they currently have and enable children to use one computer by themselves rather than sharing. The cost would be US$250 or £200 per computer.  The PCs are also used by staff and in workshops for parents and other adults in the community. Please donate to this appeal and pass it on to anyone who might be interested!
