Over £23,000
raised for La Vida at the Casino Royale event. This money will fund
a class of 20 disadvantaged children in the slum area called, 'Villa
Maria' in the outskirts of Lima, Peru.

scholarship. The funding will also be sent to Colombia for 10
operations for children born with cleft lip and cleft palate.

Bahia on 23-24th March and are now trained in the Ponseti technique.

24 orthopaedic surgeons were successfully trained in the
Ponseti technique in Joao Pessoa, in the North East of Brazil on 2-3rd
February. 6 families with children born with clubfoot were
involved in the seminar.

Dr. Monica Nogueira successfully held a second workshop
in Belo Horizonte in mid-July. 30 orthopaedic surgeons attended to learn
about the Ponseti technique for treating clubfoot.
