There are many ways to get involved. You can support us financially, raise awareness or volunteer. You can also set up your own fundraising page via BT MyDonate and raise money for us.

Volunteer Opportunities Abroad

Do you want to travel to South America and volunteer on one of our projects?

Since we started at La Vida we have had a lot of interest from people looking to volunteer at some of the projects that we support. To date we haven't been able to offer this service but this year we are looking into the various methods that we could use to service these requests.

Quest

One of the primary ways that we will look to place volunteers will be in partnership with Quest which helps to run the projects at Villa Maria in Peru. Quest can offer a variety of options from group projects to individuals, accommodating projects of different time-scales. They will help you prepare for your trip, be your point of contact before, during and after your volunteering experience and are able to offer advice on what may best suit you and the project involved. If you like the idea of volunteering but have not thought much further than this we can possibly team you up with some of the other projects that we raise funds for. Let us know the type of work that you would be interested in, what your background is and if you have any location preferences. Whilst we cannot guarantee any volunteering projects we will endeavour to help find something that suits your needs.
